Marco is an Executive Director at Nexi, the Italian digital payments company, and one of the largest IPOs in the payment industry over the last several years. Prior to Nexi, Marco was a Director at Vodafone for seven years, with various roles including head of commercial operations in the consumer market, marketing and product development and wholesale business development and strategy.

Marco began his career in strategic consulting at Bain & Company, where he supported clients in the Media and Financial Institutions sectors at the CEO and senior executive level.  He also supported leading private equity funds involved in investment cases.
Marco holds a PhD in physics from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” and a Masters degree from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
